Today, Lanciano Productions announced the name of its new film along with some details of the project.
The film will be called “Mixer.” It will be a psychological-horror thriller set in Wilmington, DE with preliminary shooting tentatively slated to begin in Spring 2010. The central plot of the film will focus around a serial killer, the likes of which Wilmington has ever come across before. The city will be gripped in fear as this madman runs wild, selecting his victims seemingly at random then killing them in a bizarre and horrific manner.
Nick Lanciano is slated to star as a Wilmington police officer who becomes entangled in this quickly deepening hunt for the elusive killer. However, his ability to catch the killer will be hindered by the sheer unpredictability of this maniac and by the fact that he has his own inner demons to deal with along with struggling with his emotions over a woman with a sordid past who he has become close to along with her two children.
Several big name actors are under consideration for the other starring roles in the film. Once again Nick will team with Steve Olenski (9th & Bay) to write the story and script and has brought along Bill Page (http:/www.imdb.com/name/nm1382576/) to serve as Special Consultant on the film.
